Apart from the features that are offered by the platform, you can also use our services.

Features

People can participate using an app. Everyone can cooperate by thinking about different topics, watch sessions and decide. Anywhere, at any time.

No smartphone? Parta can be used from the web or even on paper.

Parta ondersteunt op dit moment inloggen via een Parta account. Indien gewenst kan dit uitgebreid worden met andere inlog middelen. Neem hierover contact met ons op.

Topics can be accessible based on personal data we receive from van itsme®, a text message verification, a code you sent to participants or a link to your system

You can ask participants to submit suggestions, ask questions or give feedback. This feature is mainly used while setting the agenda or analyzing the situation.

Input that is collected externally with paper forms, physical meetings or other digital channels can be imported to make sure all input can be found and viewed in Parta.

You can meet physically or online with participants. These meetings can be streamed using Parta. Alternatively you can create a report of the meeting and share that in the app. Examples of meetings that are not fit for livestreams are fairs or closed meetings.

Participants can respond during a session using the chat. You can organize online meetings and live stream them or you can organize an online meeting using chat only.

Of course, hybrid meetings are possible too.

This feature is mainly employed using the exploration phase and while solving issues but also fits with governing the execution and knowledge sessions during the first phase of the decision making process.

The app sends a push notification to participants that are following the topic when a new step opens.

You can configure these notifications or use the standard Parta notifications.

Voting functionality in Parta is based on blockchain technology. Participants that are eligible to vote, receive a voting pass. This gives them the right to vote "Yes" or "No" on a solution or an amendment, choose from a list of options or to prioritize a list by casting 3 (or more) votes on a list of categories.

This feature can be employed when selecting officials, answering a referendum and in the decision making process during the setting of the agenda or the decision making phase.

Ballots that have been cast on paper or through alternative digital channels can be imported to make sure that in hybrid projects all information is available in Parta.

For some activities the number of participants is limited. To select participants you can use the registration functionality or use random selection algorithms.

Random selection is done based on the "L algorithm". See Li, Kim-Hung. “Reservoir-sampling algorithms of time complexity O(n (1+ log (N/n))).” ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software (TOMS) 20.4 (1994): 481-493.

Participants that have been selected randomly will be notified in the app and optionally by email.

This feature is mainly used during grouping, exploration and creating the solution. The registration and random selection can also be done outside of Parta, if desired.

Per topic, texts can be configured.

This applies to titles of steps, topics, the explanation of topics, solutions and amendments, reports, progress reports, the start date and end date of a step and topic and the questions asked.

Services

The process you want to follow can be completely customized to fit your needs. We support this for each topic that you execute or we train your team so you can do this yourself.

For some topics an independent moderator can help acceptance of the result. In other cases you might not have enough people available to moderate the sessions. We support you by moderating the sessions both online and offline.

It is important to communicate clearly with stakeholders about the process. We can support you if needed with our services around marketing and communication.

Our technical helpdesk is available during office hours to support both participants and organizers when there are questions or (technical) issues.
